Shriya Koul is an undergraduate student at UC Irvine, pursuing Business Information Management and Medical Anthropology. Her research interests lie in examining various environmental patterns and issues, and how they affect the health of disadvantaged communities—particularly in relation to health and economic disparities. Shriya is passionate about collaborating with corporations and businesses to refine their practices, aiming to create safer and more equitable health outcomes for surrounding communities. Shriya is also interested in leveraging digital skills—including coding, data analysis, and design—to enhance research and develop innovative solutions for addressing these complex challenges. Through her research and involvement with EcoGov Lab, she hopes to make a lasting impact beyond Santa Ana and contribute to broader, systemic change.
