Brenda Vuong is an undergraduate student majoring in  Environmental Science and Policy, with a minor in  and Digital Information Systems, at the University of California, Irvine. Her environmental goverance research focuses on data injustice, citizen science, and open data resources. 

Vuong’s research has examined different forms and goals of citizen science, and how California’s open data portal can be a resource in environmental governance research. 

Vuong’’s  current research focuses on how citizen science has developed in different places, including Santa Ana, California (focused on air pollution) and Calhoun County, Texas (focused on water pollution). Learn more about Brenda Vuong here.
