Taranjot Kaur Bhari is an undergraduate student majoring in Environmental Science & Policy, and minoring in Political Science at the University Of California, Irvine (UCI). Her environmental governance research focuses on the impacts hazardous chemicals can have on the livelihoods of certain communities. 

Bhari is currently researching the intersections of health injustice and environmental injustice in California’s Central Valley, by examining the role of the different stakeholders and industries in the region. The data collected by Bhari is one component of the UCI EcoGovLab’s Environmental Injustice : Building a Global Record project, hosted on the Disaster-STS Network research platform.

Bhari is also part of the 10S Climate Change & Environmental Justice Program, contributing to developing the 11th grade curriculum.
